1. About the store

Hanuman Lok operates https://hanumanlok.in as a direct-to-consumer online retail store selling physical decorative figurines, artistic collectibles, culturally inspired décor and gift-oriented products. Our business address is 78-A, Phase-2, Panditwari, Dehradun, Uttarakhand - 248007, India. These Terms apply alongside our Privacy, Shipping, Return, and Refund & Cancellation Policies.

2. Website use and customer responsibilities

Read these Terms before ordering. Provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information and use only payment methods you are authorised to use. Keep any account credentials secure. Do not interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit fraudulent orders, infringe others’ rights or use the website unlawfully.

3. Product information

Product pages describe the item, material, dimensions, price and inclusions. Screen settings and photography can cause minor colour differences, but this does not excuse an incorrect item or one substantially different from its description. Follow the stated care instructions. Do not assume a warranty, material or certification that has not been stated.

4. Pricing, payment and order acceptance

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees. Checkout shows the payable amount and applicable taxes or charges before payment. Payments are handled through Shopify checkout and its available payment providers. We do not request payment passwords, PINs or one-time passwords by email.

An order acknowledgement confirms receipt, not guaranteed acceptance or dispatch. Orders depend on payment confirmation, availability, delivery serviceability and fraud checks. We may decline an order for a legitimate reason, such as unavailable stock, failed payment or suspected unauthorised use. We will contact you before proceeding if a pricing or availability error affects your order. If we cancel a paid order that cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you and process the approved refund within 5 days.

5. Cancellation, delivery and returns

Request cancellation within 7 days of placing an order and before dispatch. After dispatch, cancellation cannot stop the shipment; the delivery and return procedures apply. Ordinary returns must be requested within 7 days of purchase. Damaged, defective, incorrect or substantially misdescribed products must be reported within 7 days after delivery, even if the ordinary purchase-based window has ended. See the Return and Refund & Cancellation Policies for eligibility, inspection and refund procedures, and the Shipping Policy for fulfilment arrangements.

6. Intellectual property

Original website text, branding, design and media are owned by or licensed to Hanuman Lok. You may use the website for personal shopping and reference. Do not reproduce or commercially exploit protected content without permission or another lawful basis.

7. Responsibility and limitations

We take reasonable care in presenting products and fulfilling orders. Technical interruptions or events beyond reasonable control may affect service. We will communicate material order delays and work with you on an appropriate resolution. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory rights relating to defective goods, refunds or other consumer remedies.

8. Updates and applicable law

We may publish revised Terms for future website use and purchases. Changes do not remove rights attached to existing orders. These Terms are governed by Indian law.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. This is subject to mandatory consumer law and does not restrict access to a consumer commission or another forum where applicable law gives you that right.
